An introduction about Monster Valley Tournament
We're excited to announce the Tournament feature tomorrow. This is an important milestone for Monster Valley's Roadmap in 2021.
Tournament
Players in Monster Valley will participate in attack and defense to accumulate ELO points, with each 100 ELO will correspond to a rank, at the end of the season will summarize the rank to award.
Registration:
Each participant will be required to register a formation to defend when attacked by other players.
Participation registration fee: 500* Token.
You can unsubscribe if you haven't attacked any matches.
Defense:
Team Monster defense with the number up to you but up to 5*.
Defensive Monsters must be Hatched Monsters.
Defensive formations can still use the battle function to level up during tournaments, but cannot use the training function.
Defensive formations cannot be selected from animals being trained or farming.
Teams can be changed at any time.
Attack:
Players will have 5* free attacks every day, each attack takes a turn, regardless of winning or losing.
Players can buy more attacks for 100* Tokens, unlimited purchases, unused extra purchases will be reserved for next season.
Attacked players will be randomly selected from among the registered players, prioritizing pairing with those of the same rank.
The attacking squad can leave the salary at will, up to 5 * children.
The offensive formation is an optional formation before each match, which can coincide with the defensive formation.
The attacking animal must be a hatched animal.
Attacking formations cannot be selected from animals being trained or farming.
Score:
Points for each match will be calculated based on the current ELO difference between the attacker and the defender, the winning side will be added and the losing side will be deducted the corresponding number of points.
If the attacker has a higher ELO score than the defender, fewer points will be added when winning and more points will be deducted when losing.
Conversely, if the attacker has a lower ELO score than the defender, more points will be added when winning and fewer points will be deducted when losing. See details in the attached table.
The maximum score that can be received per game is 35 points, the minimum is 1 point.
ELO score cannot be lower than 0.
Every 100 ELO will be equivalent to one rank, for example, a player with an ELO of 1456 will be equivalent to rank 14.
ELO points start at 1000*, each season resets ELO points to 1000.
ELO points are not reset upon unsubscribing.
Inequality
ELO difference between attacker and defender (= Attacker ELO – Defensive ELO)
Win: The ELO score changes if the attacker wins, i.e. the attacking side will be added and the defending side will be deducted the corresponding number of points.
Lose ELO score changes if the attacker fails, i.e. the attacking side will be deducted and the defending side will be added the corresponding number of points.
Bonus:
At the end of each season, there will be a summary and awards for all players who register to participate.
Players of the 3 highest rank levels will equally divide the bonus Token according to rank and animal eggs, the remaining players will receive animal eggs.
Rank 1st: 45% of total player registration fee during the season and receive 4 Random eggs.
Rank 2nd: 35% of the total player registration fee during the season and each player will receive 3 Random Egg.
Rank 3rd : 15% of the total player registration fee during the season and each player will receive 2 Random Egg.
The remaining players will receive 1 Random Egg.
*The bonus above is just a suggestion, can be customized according to the host's intentions.
